It is balm to the soul to enjoy lunch at Sault restaurant and to let yourself be convinced by the glorious views of the Wombat Forest, if only for an hour, that there is little wrong with the world.

Sault restaurant and lavender farm is at Sailors Falls, near Daylesford.

Daylesford is nestled in the Wombat Forest in the central highlands of Victoria, Australia.  The area has Australia's highest concentration of mineral springs.  With bushwalking, diverse bird life, and fresh country air, Daylesford is a wonderful place to commune with nature.
